Note: You'll need access to the email inbox associated with your MyIBP account to reset your password. If that's not possible, please Submit a Ticket to allow our support team to update the email address linked to your MyIBP account.
Please note that we cannot reset or change your password.
To reset or change password:
Step 1. Open your MyIBP app and go to the Sign In screen
- Tap Reset Password from the Sign In screen.
- Enter the email address you used when you registered your MyIBP account.
- Tap Submit.
Step 2. Check your inbox
- Go to your email inbox and open the Reset Password email.
- From the email, tap Reset Password.
You will be redirected to the Reset Password link where you can set your password.
IMPORTANT:
For security purposes, this Reset Password link expires after 24 hours. Should you fail to set your password within this timeframe, you can go back to Step 1 to get a valid Reset Password link.
Step 3. Reset your password
- Enter your new password, re-enter to confirm and tap Set.
When setting a new password, keep in mind:- Your password should be easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.
- The password you set must be at least 4 characters in length, but longer passwords are usually more secure. The Password Strength meter gives you an indication of this.
- Tap Ok on the confirmation message.
